Marine Corps Marathon in DC

The Team Iqraa marathon program trains runners to successfully complete the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC on October 25, 2009. The "People's Marathon" is the largest in the world that has no prize money. Its scenic course winds through the historical sites of the nation's capital and along the Potomac river.

Half-Marathon in Baltimore

Team Iqraa will also train runners for the half-marathon race sponsored by Under Armour in Baltimore on October 10, 2009. The race attracted 17,000 runners in 2008 and crisscrosses the downtown harbor area, as well as Lake Montebello and Johns Hopkins University.
